Enjoyed your ‘missive’ today, and as I am sure you will remember my investing experience mirrors this article! One of the risks of investing in a boom market or investment bubble as we both saw during the dotcom boom is that sometimes you make money by mistake…. and because you make money you see yourself as an expert…. being an expert eventually leads to hubris…. I really was the greatest investor of all time….
Just wanted to say thanks for the (what is now very many) years of investment education that you have given….. My portfolio these days is much less exciting than it once was but also after many years of small incremental gains much more rewarding!
