    Mr Farley

I am a bit puzzled by your first sentence in which you ‘namechecked’ me.
I agree completely with the rest of your post, and thought I had said so, albeit not in as many words.
Were you not looking forward to this months (final) selection and the review of 2018, not to mention the completion of the final portfolio? No? Well I was.

In addition to what I said above, the absence of a share selection means that this final offering is not an ‘Issue’ of TDL at all. Also, a ‘multi-selection’ of shares in order to complete the final HYP would not be too much to ask. We are being short-changed here, with this non-existent ‘Final Issue’.

    Hi Stephen

I echo the comments and sentiments expressed by other members above – thank you and best wishes.

Although disappointed, I have suspected for many months that TDL would end thus – a victim of its own success!

I am more than disappointed, and very surprised, however, that the expected Annual Review for 2018 was not included in this final issue!!? You/‘they’ at least owe us that. Any chance?

Julie, I have recently begun to take some of my dividends as income to supplement my main – occupational – pension. Having the (hopefully) secure income gives me the confidence to accept the low-to-medium(?) risk that the HYP strategy carries. I am still reinvesting the majority of my dividends in order to support an increasing income as time goes on, and am comfortable with the idea of ‘drawing down’ some of the capital if necessary (but not yet!). Dont forget the State Pension too – although you might have to wait until youre about 80 to qualify (if it even still exists by then!). Good luck with whatever you decide.

That doesn’t quite make sense, Stephen.

The last Friday of this month is on 31st – end of next week – so a weekly update was due yesterday, and the monthly print edition for March is not due this Friday.

I agree that the April print edition is due on 28th, but the Publication Schedule on this website says 15th.
